As a Private Client Solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload, including:
- Drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney (LPAs)
- Advising on inheritance tax and estate planning
- Administering estates and probate matters
- Managing trusts and advising trustees
- Supporting elderly and vulnerable clients
You will play a key role in the team, building strong client relationships and contributing to the growth and success of the department. You’ll also have the opportunity to take ownership of team development and be actively involved in the strategic growth of the department.
Skills, experience and attributes:
- Qualified (3+ PQE) in Private Client law
- Experienced in handling a broad range of private client matters
- Confident in client-facing situations with excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- A member of STEP (or working towards it) – desirable but not essential
Strong technical knowledge of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, and trusts.
Excellent client care skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long‑term client relationships.
Clear and empathetic communication, particularly when dealing with sensitive or complex personal matters.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in drafting legal documents.
