Salary: £37,000 - £41,000 + Overtime + Up to 15% annual bonus
Working Hours: Daytime work – Monday to Friday (Door to door overtime). Weekend overtime is fully optional.

They are specialists in providing turnkey solutions and can be found within a range of process industries such as food & beverage, water, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and industrial markets.
Role:
An outstanding opportunity has become available to join the survey engineering team covering a key site in Southampton and across the South East region. Responsibilities include:
- Performing steam trap surveys and installations, utilising ultrasonic testing to acoustically monitor condition of traps
- Providing troubleshooting support and recommendations
- Logging data associated with steam trap installations, management and performance
- Advising on steam trap/pipework installation, management and optimisation
- Representing the company across customer sites and spotting opportunities for development while providing a high level of service
- Working as part of a team and being responsible for technical assessments, health and safety, and providing job reports on work completed
Requirements:
The training in this role will be extensive, and you will spend a large amount of time with senior survey engineers and leaders to learn the products and engineering aspects of the role. They will also fund relevant training courses such as safe isolation, electrical 101 and working at height, as well as investing in your development through the business.
You must have a mechanical or electrical qualification, and the role would ideally suit someone from the forces. Experience with steam technology or boiler systems is not a requirement. Experience across any of the following or related areas will be considered given you demonstrate a keen desire to embrace training and learn:
- Flow control

- Actuators
- Pumps
- Instrumentation

- Combustion
- Heat exchangers
- Heat transfer
- Control systems
- Water treatment
- Compressors or compressed air
- HVAC and related areas
This role is open to survey engineers, energy engineers, sales engineers, test engineers, inspection engineers, service engineers, engineering technicians, maintenance engineers, engineering specialists, technical support and related roles. The position is field-based and will require travel most days to customer locations across South London and the South East of England, with one site based near Southampton as a key location.
