We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a rapidly growing manufacturing business. The company has experienced excellent UK sales growth and is now looking for an account manager to cover key distribution and develop end user accounts across the South of England.
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding the client base. Your ability to understand client needs, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer service will be key to your success.
Role & Responsibilities- Effectively manage and grow a portfolio of distribution accounts across a defined region
- Develop and build strong relationships with end user customers and civil contractors
- Increase sales with existing and new customers
- Up-selling and cross-selling across the extensive product range
- Increase share of wallet across accounts and increase the range of products they buy
- Understanding the customers' needs through consultative sales
- Offering a high level of customer service
- 1-5 years’ experience in field sales, account management, business development or internal sales
- This role would suit candidates from any sector, but you must have field sales experience
- Must be located across the South of England
- A track record of developing accounts and business across a region
- A clear drive and desire to succeed and grow sales
