Area Sales Engineer

Client Information

We are a British manufacturer of process solutions with state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing in the UK. We are leaders in our field with unrivaled products and engineering solutions, specialising in turnkey solutions for food & beverage, water, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and industrial markets. Training and development are second to none within this leading organisation.

Area Sales Engineer Responsibilities

  • Identify, drive and deliver sales and profit growth across the area.
  • Work with complex systems offering a variety of applications and customers.
  • Engage end users across food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, universities and hospitals.
  • Deal with OEMs and support and develop distribution partners with a strong focus on solution selling.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Track record of developing sales across industrial and process industries.
  • Strong drive to succeed.
  • Engineering or business qualification beneficial but not essential if relevant experience is present.
  • Experience selling engineering products, knowledge of industrial customers in process/production, motivation to learn new products, and field or internal sales experience.

Training and development provided – prior experience with process systems is not required as best‑in‑class training will be offered during the first few years.

Our client offers a track record of progression to senior, project and strategic sales roles, with international and leadership opportunities for successful candidates.

The region covers North & East Scotland – Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness and surrounding areas – and will require occasional overnight stays depending on location.
