As a Social Media Producer at Something Something, you'll shape how some of the most exciting artists in music show up online. You'll lead the day-to-day creative for 3-5 artists, with a full team behind you: a dedicated community manager, an editing team (editors and a graphic designer), video producers, platform partners, and fan engagement. Everyone is pointing in the direction you set. This is someone who can build and lead full campaigns from start to finish, working efficiently with our internal team, the artist and the wider teams.

What Will I Do?

  • Artist Relationships & Day-to-Day
    • Be the main day-to-day contact for 3-5 artists’ social media presence
    • Build real relationships with artists and their teams through WhatsApp groups, emails, and weekly planning calls
    • Communicate clearly with clients, in person and over message
    • Walk artists through a process that can feel stressful and make it feel exciting instead
    • Translate each artist's vision into a weekly plan you can actually execute
    • Work ahead, building artist schedules into a wider strategy
    • Stay reactive to shifts in artist activity and pop culture moments
  • Creative & Content Direction
    • Deliver weekly social schedules with sharp briefs, smart copy, and platform-native ideas
    • Brief content producers and video editors so that the output matches the vision
    • Work closely with the community manager on tone of voice and weekly priorities
    • Show up to content shoots when it matters, so nothing gets lost in translation
    • Bring ideas to internal meetings and brainstorms across the wider Something Something roster
    • Have a genuine excitement to build whole campaigns from start to end, watch these come together and be the driving force behind them
  • Publishing & Platform Management
    • Run daily posting through our scheduling tools
    • Stay fluent in TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X, Facebook, YouTube, Discord, and whatever lands next
    • Catch trends early and translate them into ideas that suit each artist
  • Performance & Strategy
    • Run monthly analysis and reporting on campaign performance
    • Sit down with the General Manager to turn learnings into the next move
    • Communicate effectively across vertical teams (channel management, community management, content and fan engagement) to implement your client's strategy
    • Read the numbers, then turn them into better creative

Who Are You?

  • A proper music fan. You love this stuff properly. You actually care about the industry and the people in it, and have pure excitement about being a part of building artists’ careers.
  • A digital native with receipts. You've been doing this for at least two years. You've got taste, and you're still hungry. You also know your way around each social media platform individually and know there’s never a “one size fits all” fix to their best practices.
  • Chronically online (in the best way). You see trends coming, you know which ones are worth catching, and you bring that instinct to campaigns that feel genuinely innovative.
  • Self-driven. You move fast, decide well, and don’t need anyone holding your hand to do it.
  • A clear communicator. You can explain a creative idea so the team can build it. Spoken and written.
  • Highly organised. You can run a roster without anything slipping.
  • Problem solver. You try things first and ask questions when you need to.
  • Creative-led but data-literate. You can read a report and turn it into better work. Instinct first, numbers in support.
  • Calm but confident. Artists trust you with something personal. You're the reason the process feels good instead of overwhelming.
  • In it for the long run. You want to grow with a team. You see this as a place to build, not a stepping stone.

What’s in it for You?

  • Salary: Depending on experience, ÂŁ31,500 – ÂŁ40,000
  • Unlimited Annual Leave: With tracking and support to ensure a minimum of 28 days per year
  • Generous Pension Contributions: 2:1 employer match on pension contributions
  • Career Progression: A clear path to grow with the company and develop your role over time
  • Hybrid Working: Two days in the office per week, based in East London, with the option to work remotely
  • Overtime Pay: Extra for the late nights, content shoots, weekend festivals
  • Regular Event Invites: Festivals, gigs, networking, the proper stuff
  • Vibrant Work Culture: A team that actually likes each other and takes the work (not themselves) seriously
