We are seeking an energetic, trend-focused Music Marketing Manager to lead, plan, and execute innovative marketing campaigns for an emerging artist. In this role, you will bridge the gap between creative storytelling and data-driven strategy—driving audience growth, streaming performance, and fan engagement across digital and traditional channels. Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: End-to-end management of marketing campaigns for album launches, single releases, tours, and roster initiatives.
- Digital & Social Strategy: Build and execute creative, short-form content strategies (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) to drive viral interest and sustained growth.
- Paid Media & Ad Campaigns: Direct and optimize paid media budgets across Meta, Google/YouTube, TikTok, and DSPs to maximize ROI and fan conversion.
- Content & Creative Oversight: Partner with other industry creatives to produce visuals, cover art, music videos, promotional assets, and press kits aligned with the artist's brand.
- Data & Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on campaign KPIs (streaming metrics, social engagement, sales, conversion) to inform future strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years in music marketing, record labels, music management, or media/agency environments focused on music.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the modern music ecosystem, DSP algorithms, short-form video strategies, and digital marketing tools.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, native DSP analytics dashboards (Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists), and CRM/email marketing tools.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to collaborate directly with artists, managers, and external partners.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage artist projects, tight release schedules, and budget allocations simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Graphic design or basic video editing capabilities (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut).
- Established relationships with digital influencers, playlist curators, and music press outlets and other music industry professionals.
