Insulation/Lagger Operative

Job purpose

Rostech Acoustics is a dedicated workshop that is committed solely to supplying acoustic sound deadening boxes to the large back up diesel engine manufacturers.

These boxes have been carefully designed and manufactured to provide the required air flow whilst also adhering to the correct sound output regulations.

Rostech Acoustics has been created to give a hassle-free service, providing these vital parts to the finished product factories

Duties

Within this role you will be expected to have a good understanding of working with rockwool insulation

Select the correct thickness lagging for work

You must be capable of cutting/shaping insulation working to tight tolerances

Comfortably use cordless power tools to drill and rivet

Demonstrate good safety behavior in the workplace, ensuring all rules and procedures are adhered to at all times and wearing the correct personal protective equipment

The successful applicant would also be expected to carry out other duties where reasonably required.

Working

Job work is based inside an engineering workshop

Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3:30pm with regular overtime

Hourly rate £ overtime

Holidays 23 + stats

Pay – monthly

Full Time – Permanent

Physical requirements

This is a fast-paced working environment.

There will be lifting of piece and finished parts involved so a strong able body would be required.

Task is for a keen eye with an excellent attention span.
