Fractional VP of Finance in London

Rossum is on a mission to automate how the world's largest enterprises manage their data. As we scale rapidly, maintaining a robust and resilient financial engine is critical. We're not seeking someone to upend our strategy or shift our direction—rather, we need a seasoned finance leader to step in for a six-month interim period and take full ownership of our financial operations.

About the Role

Your goal is simple: Stability and Precision. You ensure our day-to-day finance operations are flawless, our reporting is razor-sharp, and the executive leadership has the exact data they need to keep winning.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Budgeting: You lead the budgeting process and resource allocation, ensuring our financial roadmap is followed with precision.
• Operations Oversight: You oversee all sides of finance—payables, receivables, payroll, and tax prep. If a dollar moves in or out, you are on top of it.
• The Source of Truth: You provide the analyses and summaries that tell the real story of our operating progress. No fluff, just accurate data for the CEO/COO.
• The Guardrails: You identify financial or internal control risks before they become problems.
• External Partnerships: You manage our relationships with financial institutions and government agencies to keep our growth initiatives supported.

Qualifications

You've been here before. You've likely held a VP or Senior Director role in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment and you know exactly what "good" looks like.

Required Skills

• SaaS is your native tongue: You understand recurring revenue, burn rates, and SaaS metrics without needing a refresher.
• You're an Operator: You enjoy the craft of FP&A and getting into the weeds of resource allocation.
• You're direct: We value a culture where people speak their minds. If something isn't working, you say it. If you make a mistake, you own it, we learn, and we move on. That's how we stay fast.

Location: You're based in Europe or a closely aligned time zone so we can actually collaborate in real-time.
