This is a pivotal role responsible for managing our relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring service levels, costs, and contractual obligations are met while driving continuous improvement across our fulfilment network. Youll currently oversee a network of 1 international and 3 UK 3PL partners, with the network set to grow further as we expand into the EU and US markets — making this a key role in shaping our logistics footprint through a period of active growth. Youll act as the key point of contact between our business and external logistics partners, balancing commercial negotiation with day-to-day operational oversight to keep goods moving efficiently, on time, and within budget. /p p br /p p br /p p strong Responsibilities /strong /p ul li Own and manage contracts with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring terms are commercially sound and operationally deliverable /li li Monitor 3PL performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs (e.g. on-time delivery, cost-per-unit, inventory accuracy), driving corrective action where needed /li li Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and renegotiations to secure favourable commercial terms /li li Act as the primary escalation point for operational or service issues with logistics partners /li li Work closely with the Warehouse and Fulfilment teams to align 3PL activity with internal operations /li li Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency initiatives across the logistics network /li li Support the onboarding of new 3PL partners as we expand into the EU and US, including due diligence and tender processes /li li Produce regular reporting on 3PL performance, costs, and risk for senior leadership /li li Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, health safety, and contractual requirements /li li Travel regularly to 3PL partner sites across the UK and internationally to maintain strong operational oversight /li /ul p br /p p br /p p strong Qualifications /strong /p p At least 5 years experience managing 3PL contracts and relationships, ideally across multiple sites /p p br /p p br /p p strong Required Skills /strong /p ul li Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of managing supplier performance /li li Solid understanding of warehousing, fulfilment, and supply chain operations /li li Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external /li li Confident analysing performance data and translating it into action /li li Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities /li li Experience working within a fast-paced operations or logistics environment /li li Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the UK and internationally /li /ul p br /p p br /p p strong Preferred Skills /strong /p ul li Experience in [retail / e-commerce / manufacturing — insert relevant sector] /li li Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics KPIs /li li Previous experience managing multiple 3PL relationships simultaneously, including international partners /li li Experience supporting geographic expansion (e.g. EU or US market entry) from a logistics or supply chain perspective /li /ul p br /p p br /p p strong Pay range and compensation package /strong /p p Competitive depending on experience /p p br /p ul li 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays /li li Company pension scheme /li li Generous staff discount on brands /li li Enhanced Maternity and Paternity leave /li li Health Shield employee health benefit /li li Access to a Mortgage benefit scheme /li li Based at our Heywood warehouse or Manchester office, with regular UK and international travel to partner sites /li li Full-time, office-based — 5 days a week at Heywood Warehouse or Manchester Office /li li The opportunity to play a key role in shaping our logistics and fulfilment strategy through a period of international growth /li /ul p br /p p br /p p strong Equal Opportunity Statement /strong /p p br /p p We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices. /p p br /p
