Founded in 2018, Rosslyn is a collection of award-winning specialty coffee shops across the City of London. We set out to create something special: All the high standards and attention to detail of the great Australian café, combined with all the warmth and hospitality of the great Irish pub! At Rosslyn, we believe that what we do matters beyond the cup. We’re a hospitality business built around contributing to everyone we come into contact with — our guests, our team, and our community. We understand that success means more when it’s shared, and that when you invest in the people around you, it comes back around. That’s why we always hire people who embody our values. Skills can be taught — but empathy, optimism, and genuine care for the person in front of you? Those come from within. At the end of it all, what we do is quite simple…we are nice to people, and we make great coffee.

This is a busy, high-volume environment in the heart of the City—and one of the rare hospitality roles genuinely built around your life.

  • Hours: Monday–Friday 06:00–17:30, Saturdays 07:30–16:30.
  • Schedule: 40-hour work-week, shifts no longer than 10 hours.
  • Experience: Specialty coffee experience is welcome, but not essential. If you bring the drive and the care, we’ll teach you everything else.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality at pace—understanding what our guests truly need and meeting them where they are at.
  • Lead daily operations while maintaining the efficiency and guest experience standards.
  • Foster open and effective communication that strengthens our team culture.
  • Mentor team members, sharing the knowledge and skills you'll develop at Rosslyn.
  • Expand your coffee knowledge and serve as a resource for both guests and colleagues.
  • Take on daily/weekly administrative responsibilities that support the business.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Empathy — with guests, with teammates, with the moment
  • Optimism — As a team, we win, or we learn. Regardless, it’s all forward and positive momentum. We assume positive intent.
  • Pride in the detail — because the 1% improvements are where the magic lives
  • Having each other’s backs — a team that holds each other up
  • Continuous improvement — always curious, always growing
