Rosslyn Park Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a motivated, energetic and organised individual to become part of the Midday Supervisor team. This is a part-time, term-time only position for 8.75 hours per week. The working hours are Mon-Fri (11.45am-1.30pm).
Rosslyn Park is a large primary school with 570 children on roll and we pride ourselves on supporting each one of them and their families. Our children feel valued and have a sense of belonging to the school and the local diverse community. We believe strongly in developing the whole child and ensure that our knowledge-rich curriculum is supported by strong pastoral provision.
Responsibilities:- Supervision, organisation and safeguarding of children within the playground or dining hall environment.
- Organise and develop interactive activities for the children during play.
- Use class registers and operate the system designed to ensure all children receive a school meal.
- Encourage dining arrangements that promote an orderly and pleasant meal service for pupils.
- Assist as required to ensure a calm, clean environment in the dining hall.
The successful candidate will be friendly, have good communication skills and the ability to adapt their approach to suit the needs and different personalities of the children. You will:
