Are you passionate about football and social media? Do you have a knack for engaging content creation? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator for our Ladies Team, The Home of Doncaster Ladies Football.

Role: As the Social Media Coordinator, you will report to the Club's Media Operations Manager and be responsible for managing the social media feeds for our Ladies Team, specifically on X, Facebook, and Instagram. Your primary focus will be to create compelling content, engage with our fans, and promote the team's activities and achievements and provide matchday updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and schedule engaging content for the Ladies Team's X, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
  • Engage with fans by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Provide live coverage during match days, both home and away, including pre-match build-up, in-game updates, and post-match analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Media Operations Manager to develop social media strategies and campaigns that align to the club's brand guidelines.
  • Capture and share behind-the-scenes moments to give fans an inside look into the team.
  • Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for content optimisation.

Requirements:

  • Passion for football and social media.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Creativity and ability to generate engaging content.
  • Availability for all match days, both home and away.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in social media management is preferred but not required. This role would particularly suit a media student looking to gain practical experience.

Gain valuable experience in sports social media management within top-class competitions such as the Adobe Women's FA Cup.
