An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate football enthusiast looking to break into the football media industry and join our media team at Rossington Main Football Club, Doncaster’s highest-ranked non-league football club, as a Media Assistant. Role Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Media & Communications, supporting the club’s first‑team media activities while also having opportunities to contribute across other areas of the club. The role will primarily focus on leading the first‑team matchday communications feed on X, alongside Facebook and Instagram, during both home and away fixtures, including cup competitions.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the production of the matchday programme
  • Filming and editing video content for the club’s YouTube channel and social media channels
  • Producing written content, including match reports, previews and feature articles
  • Supporting the day‑to‑day management of the club website and social media platforms
  • Assisting with media and communications activity across all club teams

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for football and media.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Be available for the majority of first‑team fixtures, predominantly on Saturday afternoons (midweek: Tuesday or Wednesday)
  • Have a strong interest in football media and communications
  • Be willing to learn and gain practical, hands‑on experience
  • Possess good written communication skills
  • Work effectively as part of a team
