We are currently seeking experienced Security Team Leader with a minimum of 2 years\’ experience in the jewellery/luxury sector to join our dedicated team safeguarding some of the most exclusive jewellery retailers in London.

About the Role:
We\’re looking for an experienced and driven Team Leader to take the reins of daily security operations at a premier Central London location. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone ready to take responsibility for a high-profile site, lead a skilled team, and champion service excellence
As the site\’s Security Team Leader , you will oversee frontline delivery, provide on-the-ground leadership, and serve as the key liaison between the client and our officers. You\’ll ensure standards are upheld, incidents are managed professionally, and your team is supported and motivated to perform at their best.
This role combines operational leadership with hands-on coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, structure, and people management.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 year\’s experience in jewellery retail security
- Frontline SIA License (DS Badge)
- First-class customer service and communication skills
- The right to work in the UK (valid visa or documentation)
- 5 years\’ checkable employment history in line with British Standard 7858
- Impeccable presentation, articulate and professional at all times
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage difficult situations
- Flexibility to meet operational needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the on-site security team with professionalism and presence
- Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day client queries and feedback
- Maintain shift coverage and oversee welfare of staff
- Conduct briefings, assign responsibilities, and ensure team readiness
- Support the induction of new officers and deliver on-the-job coaching
- Promote a strong customer service mindset across the team
- Ensure all site documentation (assignment instructions, logs, risk assessments) is current and followed
- Take charge during incidents, escalate appropriately, and report clearly
- Drive performance standards and reinforce company values
- Carry out spot checks, audits, and periodic team reviews
- Organise training refreshers and contribute to scenario-based security drills
- Align site activity with client brand values and operational culture
- Address low performance or conduct issues fairly and promptly
- Encourage team input and suggestions for service improvement
- Contribute to site mobilisations and onboarding of transferred staff if applicable
