HGV Technician Late Shift Worthing Full Time Salary: uplift for late shift working) Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 2:00pm.

If you are a qualified HGV Technician seeking a new role, we'd love to hear from you. We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team to undertake all duties of a commercial vehicle technician by carrying out inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installation of components as per your current experience.

This role requires a strong technical background, practical experience with various tools and equipment, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. You should have a current clean UK driving licence.

In this role, you will undertake all duties of a Commercial Vehicle Technician by carrying out inspections, repairs, maintenance and installation of components in accordance with the experience, and training given and to the standards and quality of Mercedes-Benz.

The following criteria are essential for this role:

  • Completed a recognised vehicle apprenticeship
  • Motor vehicle mechanic/technician experience
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy goods Vehicles
  • At least one year's experience as an HGV technician with general vehicle repairs
  • Able to work under own initiative and part of a team
  • Carrying out PMI's, MOT preparations, servicing and maintenance of HGVs
  • Fault finding and diagnosis
