Full Time Salary: Starting at £46,659.60 DOE (Base salary starting at £45,349.20 p.a. DOE plus £1,310.40 p.a. uplift for late shift working)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 2:00pm - 12:30am with a 30‑minute unpaid break per day, Friday 2:00pm to 7:00pm.

Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team to undertake all duties of a commercial vehicle technician by carrying out inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installation of components as per your current experience. This role requires a strong technical background and practical experience with various tools and equipment, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. A current clean UK driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installation of components in accordance with the experience, training given and to the standards and quality of Mercedes‑Benz.
Requirements
- Completed a recognised vehicle apprenticeship
- Motor vehicle mechanic/technician experience
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Heavy goods Vehicles
- At least one year's experience as an HGV technician with general vehicle repairs
- Able to work under own initiative and part of a team
- Carrying out PMI’s, MOT preparations, servicing and maintenance of HGVs
- Fault finding and diagnosis
