Rossendale Valley Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our small single-handed GP Practice. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and experienced multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care. We work closely with our PCN and have a number of PCN staff based within the Practice including First Contact Physiotherapy, Nursing Associate, Physician Associate, Mental Health Practitioner and Pharmacy Technician. Main duties of the job:
- We are looking for a 2 sessions per week (Fridays) salaried GP who will work as an autonomous Practitioner providing high quality, evidence based, primary care services.
- You will undertake a full range of general medical services in accordance with the NHS Contract including appropriate administrative work such as investigations and correspondence, as well as QOF and quality work.
- You will adhere to General Medical Council standards and contribute to effective practice management, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
Please note we are not an NHS organisation that is able to offer Sponsorship. We offer an excellent package which includes six weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays and one week's paid study leave. We offer a competitive salary in line with BMA guidelines with a starting point subject to experience.

Job responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based medical care
- Manage acute presentations and long-term conditions
- Provide services in line with the GMS contract and prescribing guidance
- Participate in home visits
- Manage own admin lists including pathology, investigations and correspondence
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
- Support QOF delivery, clinical audit, and quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to clinical governance, significant event reviews and audits
