Rossendale Borough Council is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our Facilities team.
Based primarily at Futures Park, Bacup, you will help provide a high-quality cleaning service, ensuring Council premises are maintained to a clean, tidy and hygienic standard.
Your duties will include cleaning offices, toilets, kitchens, meeting rooms and communal areas, dusting and polishing furniture and fittings, vacuuming and mopping floors, emptying bins and ensuring premises are secure at the end of your shift.

- Reliable, flexible and able to work on your own initiative.
- A good team player with the ability to follow instructions.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Aware of the importance of health and safety.
- Willing to provide cover at other Council premises when required.
Previous commercial cleaning experience and knowledge of COSHH and hygienic cleaning practices would be desirable, although these are not essential.
