About the Role

Rossall School seeks to appoint an outstanding and inspirational Head of Netball to lead one of the School's most successful and visible sporting programmes. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious, high calibre netball coach to shape the direction of a thriving programme within a leading independent boarding school. The successful candidate will bring energy, expertise and vision, ensuring netball continues to flourish across Prep and Senior School, from participation through to performance.

The Head of Netball will take responsibility for the strategic leadership and day to day delivery of the programme, including player development, elite pathway provision, fixtures, tours and competitive success. They will play a central role within the Sports Department and contribute fully to the co-curricular life of the School. Rossall offers exceptional sporting provision, including extensive playing fields, a modern sports hall, strength and conditioning facilities, and access to performance support services. The School has strong sporting ambition and expects the successful candidate to raise standards further, inspire participation and drive excellence in competition at regional and national level.

Applicants should hold a minimum Level 2 Netball Coaching Qualification (or equivalent experience), with higher level qualifications highly desirable. The Head of Netball will work term time plus six weeks; 2 weeks of Michaelmas Pre-Season, 2 weeks of in‑season tours and 2 weeks of Summer Camps. The salary is competitive depending on skills and experience.
