Our Mechanical Trades team is seeking a Fabricator to join our Muir of Ord facility on a permanent basis. You will work with an established team, fabricating and forming pipework and manifolds using hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
Key Duties Include:
- Fabricate components from customer samples and/or engineer’s drawings to client specifications.
- Perform maintenance and repair work on existing systems.
- Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in various process piping systems.
- Inspect materials and parts to ensure high standards.
- Safely use hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
- Assist other disciplines when required.
- Perform other tasks within your skill set as requested.
Requirements:
- SVQ or City and Guilds qualification in a relevant trade.
- Experience in general fabrication and pipework.
- Ability to interpret and reproduce components from engineering drawings or samples.
- Organized with the ability to plan fabrication sequences.
- Capable of self-checking work, maintaining high standards for environment, quality, and safety.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
