What Are We Looking For? Due to continued growth, WES, part of the RSE Group, is looking for a Working Mechanical Supervisor to assist with the successful delivery of installation projects within the Water industry. The primary function of the role is to oversee manpower on site, order materials, manage on-site works, while working hands on assisting with installation projects. Please note there is travel and working away from home required as part of this role with accommodation provided by WES. Some of Your Key Duties Include: Installation of new and existing mechanical equipment including kiosks and plastic pipework. Inspect equipment and identify faulty components. Carrying out testing and pre-commissioning of equipment on site. Instructing, directing, controlling, and allocating work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices. Deliver toolbox talks and review permits, safety requirements and RAMS. Overseeing mechanical works to ensure they are being carried out to timescales and to the required standard/quality. Providing the Installation Manager with progress reports and future resource requirements. What Do You Need? NVQ or Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Pipefitting or equivalent. Proven Mechanical installation experience specifically working with plastics. Good knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety processes/procedures. SSSTS Water industry experience would be highly advantageous however other industries will also be considered. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with, lead, and motivate teams of apprentices and operatives under your supervision Full UK Driving Licence WES – Who Are We?
