What Are We Looking For? Owing to continued sustainable growth, our Asset Management & Technical Services division is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join us on a permanent basis, and work as part of our in-house, multidisciplinary design team. You will take on a leading role in aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards, with a strong focus low on carbon solutions. Some of Your Key Duties Include: Oversee design aspects of projects from inception to implantation. Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards. Develop design deliverables. Complete checking and approval processes. Arrange procurement of goods and services. Prepare work scope estimates/quotations. Assemble contract works information documents. Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters. Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects. Implement project change control and programme requirements. Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects. What Do You Need? Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience of working in a multidiscipline design team. Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable. Design management experience is highly desirable. Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively. Full UK Driving Licence. Who Are We?
