What Are We Looking For? Our Mechanical team is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Darlington office on a permanent basis. You will be joining a team that is experienced, working on water projects across the UK. Please note this position will require flexibility on working location, with accommodation provided by RSE.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
- Dismantle and re-assemble mechanical assemblies.
- Inspect equipment and identify faulty components.
- Ensure quality, environmental and health and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Carry out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment.
- Assist other disciplines when required.
- Ensure safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
- Ensure equipment is maintained to a high and safe standard.
What Do You Need?
- NVQ OR City and Guilds Qualified
- Possess a mechanical understanding and knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Hydrostatic systems.
- The ability to understand and use schematics and maintenance drawings to analyse, assess, and find faults within these systems.
- To be organised and have the ability to plan a sequence of events, which are required to remove and reinstall components within a working system.
- Capable of self-checking work and to possess high personal standards with respect to Environment, Quality and Health & Safety.
- Full UK Driving Licence
