What Are We Looking For?

Due to continued growth, WES, part of the RSE Group, is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to assist with the successful delivery of installation projects within the Water industry.

Please note there is travel and working away from home required as part of this role with accommodation provided by WES.

Key Duties:

  • Installation of new and existing mechanical equipment including kiosk, chemical dosing rigs, and plastic pipework.
  • Undertake maintenance/repair work in existing pipework systems and various other mechanical components such as pump changes and valve replacements.
  • Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.
  • Assist other disciplines when required.
  • Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder\’s appropriate skill set.

What Do You Need?

  • NVQ or Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Pipefitting or equivalent.
  • Proven Mechanical installation experience specifically working with plastics.
  • Good knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety processes/procedures.
  • Water industry experience would be highly advantageous but other industries will also be considered.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
