Job Description
This long established, expanding business is looking to recruit a Transport Planner to add to their effective team. Reporting into the Transport Manager, this role is going to be based in their Liverpool office working with an experienced, friendly, fast paced team on a 4 on 4 off nights shift.
The Client is looking for an accomplished Planner who can work effectively under pressure and to deadlines with superb organisational and planning skills. With the ability to react to daily changes and effectively implement solutions, knowing what and who is available to ensure Client deliveries are made on time in full and profitably is an integral part of this role.
In order to be successful in this role you will have strong Transport Planning experience, great communication skills working with customers, drivers and colleagues alike. With the ability to work on your own initiative you will be experienced in managing drivers and compliance, be used to reacting quickly and implementing effective changes to the plan and getting the job done in line with Customer's expectations.
