Job Description
Due to expansion the opportunity has arisen for an Import Coordinator to work on Ocean Freight bookings for this growing, dynamic, professional organisation. This is a challenging position based in a friendly, supportive team that will offer good job variety, security and autonomy to use your already established Import skills.
Key duties will include:
- Being the first point of contact for customers.
- Managing FCL and LCL Import bookings on behalf of customers.
- Ensuring the correct shipment procedures are accurately carried out together with the production of all necessary Import documentation, customs entries and associated data management.
- Dealing professionally, effectively and timely with all customer queries ensuring problem solving and issue resolution to the customer’s satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to display first class customer service skills, have a strong Ocean Freight Imports background with good communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail driving an excellence in operations.
With a proactive approach and the ability to work on your own initiative, candidates must have Ocean Freight Imports experience working within the shipping, freight forwarding or supply chain industries.
