We’re now on the hunt for a special someone to join the team as a Window & Door Fitter. You’ll find with us a perfect platform to showcase your high quality work and the skills you’ve gained in your career so far in the building maintenance and construction industry.

You’ll be a great communicator, liaising with customers and Work Planners to ensure planned and responsive works provide a great customer experience by being on time and to a high standard. You’ll also be happy to pitch in with the team and assist with other duties if needed.

To Be Considered You’ll Need To Have:

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 (or City & Guilds) in Fenestration or Carpentry & Joinery
  • Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety issues relating to repairs & maintenance & construction trades.
  • A full UK driving licence

A Few Key Points From Our Role Profile:

  • To carry replacement of windows and doors and other fenestration works, multi-skilled work such as repairing gutters, window and door repairs and making good to areas when disturbed by installations, in and around domestic properties.
  • Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHGs Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
  • Attend pre‑arranged planned, responsive or void appointments to carry out work or contact customers directly to make access arrangements.

Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon‑Thurs 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30‑minute break for lunch. You’ll be paid monthly. You’ll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a concessionary day holiday at Christmas.
