We’re now on the hunt for a special someone to join the team as a Window & Door Fitter. You’ll find with us a perfect platform to showcase your high quality work and the skills you’ve gained in your career so far in the building maintenance and construction industry.
You’ll be a great communicator, liaising with customers and Work Planners to ensure planned and responsive works provide a great customer experience by being on time and to a high standard. You’ll also be happy to pitch in with the team and assist with other duties if needed.
To Be Considered You’ll Need To Have:
- Minimum NVQ level 2 (or City & Guilds) in Fenestration or Carpentry & Joinery
- Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety issues relating to repairs & maintenance & construction trades.
- A full UK driving licence
A Few Key Points From Our Role Profile:
- To carry replacement of windows and doors and other fenestration works, multi-skilled work such as repairing gutters, window and door repairs and making good to areas when disturbed by installations, in and around domestic properties.
- Minimise disruption to customers and ensure compliance with safe methods of working in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, Building Regulations & FHGs Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
- Attend pre‑arranged planned, responsive or void appointments to carry out work or contact customers directly to make access arrangements.
You’ll have access to one of our company vans for visiting homes and you’ll love the variety this role brings. Above all you’ll take pride in a job well done, knowing that you’ve made a real difference to our customers.

Your weekly hours of work would be 37, Mon‑Thurs 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30‑minute break for lunch. You’ll be paid monthly. You’ll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a concessionary day holiday at Christmas.
