You'll be working with a range of well-maintained CNC equipment including: * Kitamura CNC machining centres * DMG CNC machining centres * 3 & 4-axis milling This isn't simply a load-and-run position. Depending on your experience, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in setting, programming, proving out, tooling, troubleshooting and improving jobs. What They're Looking For Ideally, you'll have experience with: * CNC milling * Setting and operating CNC machining centres * Programming or editing at the machine * 3 and/or 4-axis machining * Reading engineering drawings * Tool selection and offsets * Working to tight tolerances * Problem solving and proving out jobs CAD/CAM experience would be a big advantage, but isn't essential. They're open-minded on experience. A fully experienced Programmer/Setter can come in at the higher end of the salary range, while a strong Setter/Operator with the right foundations can be trained and developed further. What's On Offer? * £20.00–£24.00 per hour, depending on experience * Up to approximately £50,000 basic at the top end * Overtime available * Immediate start available * Permanent day-shift position * Well-maintained Kitamura & DMG machinery * Varied precision subcontract work * CAD/CAM training and development * Genuine progression for someone wanting to become a stronger programmer * Established engineering business with a long-term workload They're looking to get someone on board ASAP, so interviews can be arranged quickly.
