We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering company working on high-quality, low-volume components for advanced engineering sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on machinist who enjoys online programming, problem-solving, and machining complex parts to tight tolerances.

The Role

  • Online programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings
  • Producing one-off and low-volume precision components
  • Machining a wide range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, steels, and exotic materials
  • Working with 3-axis, 4-axis, and/or 5-axis machines
  • Carrying out self-inspection using micrometers, verniers, gauges, and CMM where applicable
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer
  • Strong online programming ability
  • Confident using Heidenhain or Hurco controls (Mazak / Fanuc beneficial)
  • Background in precision engineering environments
  • Comfortable working to tight tolerances
  • Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
