We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company based in West London. The company specialises in precision gear cutting and high-tolerance machining, supplying complex components to industries including aerospace, defence, medical and precision instrumentation. This role will involve setting and operating 4-axis CNC milling centres, producing precision components to tight tolerances.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set and operate 4-axis CNC milling machines
- Machine precision components to tight tolerances
- Work from engineering drawings and job packs
- Carry out basic inspection and quality checks
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and repeatability
- Work as part of a skilled machining team to meet production targets
Requirements
- Experience as a CNC Miller / Setter Operator. Ideally Programmer Setter.
- Experience running 3 or 4 axis CNC milling machines
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience machining precision components
Desirable but not essential:
- Conversational programming
- CAD/CAM experience
