Job Title:Multimedia and Content Producer
Location:Ross County Football Club
Reports To:Head of Commercial

Major Function:
The Multimedia and content producer will play a key role in driving fan engagement, increasing revenue through ticketing, hospitality and merchandise sales, and managing the club’s digital platforms. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the club’s digital identity and contribute to its ongoing growth and success.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Media liaison with local and national press as well as organisation and fulfilment of key media requirements Sky, BBC etc
- Organise and management of weekly press conferences
- Matchday management of press matters
- Development and maintenance of relationships with key media contacts local and National
- Organisation and fulfilment of key media requirements Sky, BBC etc
- Develop and execute engaging content strategies to grow the club’s digital fanbase across social media, email marketing, and the official website.
- Plan and deliver digital campaigns around matchdays, player stories, behind-the-scenes content, and community initiatives.
- Work with media and football operations teams to ensure timely coverage of matches, interviews, and press conferences.
Commercial – All departments within Ross County
- Plan and deliver digital campaigns and communications plans to promote hospitality packages, merchandise, Schools programmes and Academy offers across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with all departments to understand their plans and requitements and deliver seasonal promotions and product launches as required.
- Analyse customer behaviours and tailor campaigns to increase conversion rates and online revenue.
Ticketing – Increasing Sales
- Create and implement digital strategies to boost ticket sales for home fixtures, cup games, and season tickets.
- Optimise digital ticket sales journeys to reduce drop-offs and improve user experience.
- Use data-driven insights to target specific demographics with personalised offers and content.
Web and Social Media Content Management
- Manage and maintain the club’s official website, ensuring it is up to date, visually engaging, and user-friendly.
- Automation and scheduling of content
- Write and edit compelling copy for match previews/reports, player features, and club news.
- Ensure content reflects the club’s brand identity and tone of voice consistently across platforms.
Knowledge & Experience
1.Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably sport, entertainment, or retail sectors
2.Excellent communication skills and ability to write engaging, brand consistent content.
3.Passion for football and a good understanding of the Scottish football landscape
4.Content Creation & Storytelling
- Produces compelling multimedia content (video, audio, graphics, motion) tailored to football fans.
- Develops narratives that align with the club’s identity, values, and campaign objectives.
- Shoots and edits content optimised for multiple platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X, etc.)
5.Creative Production
- Manages all stages of multimedia production, from concept to delivery.
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.).
- Uses modern camera, lighting, and audio equipment with confidence.
6.Digital Platform Expertise
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, email marketing tools and social media schedulers.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, paid advertising, SEO and CRM tools.
- Understands the nuances of platform-specific content (TikTok vs YouTube vs Instagram).
- Optimises content for engagement, reach, and analytics.
- Maintains awareness of evolving social media trends and formats.
7.Brand Representation & Project Management
- Ensures all content aligns with the football club\’s tone, image, and visual identity.
- Acts as a brand guardian in digital and creative content output
- Juggles multiple projects under tight deadlines, often within a fast-paced matchday/week environment.
- Plans content schedules aligned with fixtures, events, and campaigns.
