About the Role
We are now seeking to recruit an independent Trustee to the Board to act as Treasurer who:
- Should be a qualified accountant, ideally chartered, with broad experience of having worked within the charity and/or commercial sectors.
- Be a serving or have served as a Financial Director of a large charity and/or medium sized commercial business.
- Have experience of investment strategy, pension funds, financial systems, financial risk management and of liaising with external auditors and investment advisers.
As a Treasurer Trustee, you will work closely with RoSPA's Finance Director and contribute actively to the Board's work in setting strategic direction, ensuring robust governance, and safeguarding RoSPA's reputation and resources.
