You will play a crucial role in overseeing the management and continuous enhancement of RoSPA's business data systems, ensuring they are robust and reliable.

So, are you:

  • Experienced in developing an organisation's data management processes, systems, and structures?
  • Skilled in evaluating data system performance, monitoring data usage, and implementing controls to ensure data accuracy and completeness?
  • Adept at collaborating across departments and with stakeholders to define and maintain data standards and business rules?
  • Experienced in creating, implementing, and continuously reviewing data governance frameworks?
  • Familiar with implementing both technical and manual procedures to securely and efficiently handle and share data and documents?
  • Capable of developing and enforcing methods for complying with data regulations, including retention and disposal policies?
  • Experienced in providing training, documentation, and support to ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in effectively managing data?

Do you have:

  • A BSc in Information Governance, Business Data Analytics, Business Administration, or equivalent?
  • Experience of working as a Data Manager or Information Governance Manager or similar role?
  • Proven experience of managing data at a detailed level, including solid working knowledge of data security, laws and protocols?
  • A thorough understanding of data management and administrative policies?
  • Experience of querying databases and other sources of data, and managing data and documents in a Microsoft environment?
  • The ability to clearly convey findings, both written and orally, to non-technical stakeholders?
  • Strong problem-solving skills delivering solutions to business problems using a data-driven approach?
