Summary

Interaction Recruitment is looking for experienced Warehouse Managers to join a successful business in their Logistics, Technical, and Supply Chain divisions based in South Yorkshire. You will be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, managing people, systems, and processes to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately and targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

1. Liaise with customers, transport companies, and suppliers.
2. Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
3. Understand and adhere to company policies and how the warehouse contributes to overall operations.
4. Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary.
5. Motivate, encourage, and organize teamwork within colleagues to ensure productivity.
6. Manage performance to achieve high levels of customer service.
7. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment.

Key Skills/Experience

1. People management and teamwork skills.
2. MHE Licences required, e.g., FLT.
3. Technical and IT skills, especially database and spreadsheet management.
4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work strategically.
5. A flexible approach to work, as many warehouses operate on varied shift patterns.
6. Strong leadership and motivational skills.
