HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In Grimsby for an IMMEDIATE START. There are multiple roles available. Interaction Recruitment are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers on an ADHOC, TEMP TO PERM OR FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT basis at our large, national distribution client in Grimsby, DN31. Our client is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, which means you get the best HGV experience and a top range vehicle to work with.
Working hours and pay
- Pay Rates β PAYE Β£15.80 to Β£19.35 per hour, dependent on shift.
- All start times available: Early, Afters, Nights, Tramping. Weekdays or weekends.
Job role
- Bay Work No/ light handball
- Drive a curtain, box or fridge trailer
About You / Qualifications
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence.
- No more than 6 points; no DD/ DR Code convictions.
- Hold a current valid DCPC & Tachograph cards.
- Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
