HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted in Chesterfield for an immediate start. Interaction Recruitment is looking for HGV drivers working ADHOC or FTE shifts at a large national distribution client in Chesterfield. Our client is one of the biggest names in the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, giving you the best HGV experience and a top‑range vehicle to work with.
Requirements:
- 12 months UK HGV Class 1 driving experience required
- Valid HGV 1/C+E licence
- No more than 6 points, no DD/DR code convictions
- Valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- Understand and comply with drivers' hours and WTD legislation
- Carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure safety and report defects correctly
- Comply with on‑site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
Working Hours:
- Pay rates – PAYE £16.50‑£19.00 p/h, dependent on shift
- Starting times available: AM – 2‑11 AM, PM – 12 PM to 5 PM, Nights – 6 PM onwards
- Job Role: Bay work, No/little handball
