Auto Electrician - Chesterfield

Due to increased sales, conversions and services, Interaction Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a prestigious Motorhome company who are looking for an AUTO ELECTRICIAN / ELECTRICIAN to join their team on a FULL-TIME basis, starting IMMEDIATELY.

Location – Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Salary circa £35,000 DOE

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 / 09:00 to 17:00 – flexible to you

The client requests that the successful candidate works 1 Saturday per month

Overtime available if desired

Working in a freshly built, clean and WARM workshop

Collaborating with a team of around 15 employees

Job Duties:

1. Completing full wiring – start to finish
2. Installing cable, wiring, lighting, relays etc.
3. Fault finding and diagnosis
4. Providing professional assessments and advice for customers
5. Reviewing maintenance work orders and ensure all requirements/preparations are fully undertaken before commencing work
6. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements
7. Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
8. Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
9. Other duties as requested

Previous Auto-electrician experience paramount, more specifically caravans and motorhomes ideally but not essential.
