Your new role

An exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Technician – Analytical to join our Quality Control team, with the following responsibilities:

  • Support QC laboratory activities: laboratory maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and coordinating equipment activities.
  • Snap freezing of product retention samples in the liquid nitrogen store.
  • Support the movement of frozen product samples to the laboratory for testing.
  • Support the shipment of drug product samples to test houses for release testing.
  • Management of laboratory materials to ensure sufficient supply for laboratory testing.
  • Management of cold storage units and coordination of sample discard.
  • Receipt and release of materials for use within RoslinCT GMP facilities.
  • General record keeping and quality related documentation.
  • Liaise with other departments to support business requirements.

About you

  • A good standard of written English and the ability to write accurately and clearly.
  • Excellent administration and record keeping skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to plan ahead whilst delivering results to deadline.
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude in response to short‑term demands and long‑term planned workload.
  • Experience working in a scientific laboratory and knowledge of GMP principles is desirable.
