Your new role
- An exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.
- This is a temporary contract. It is anticipated that the role will be effective from August 2025 till March 2026.
- Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with company policies, practices and relevant standards and guidelines.
- Writing and updating SOPs for QA activities.
- Administering, reviewing and approving Incident Reports, Change Controls and Risk Assessments.
- Performing data review audits and internal audits.
- Issuing, reviewing and closing Corrective and Preventative Actions (CA/PAs).
- Overlooking and approving suppliers / service providers including supporting with audits of critical suppliers where required.
- Compiling quality metrics to facilitate monitoring of the RoslinCT Quality System.
About you
- Prior experience in a relevant area of activity (i.e. stem cell activities).
- Clear knowledge and understanding of GMP, regulatory and accreditation systems and quality management.
- Ability to report and present internally and externally.
- Demonstrate influencing, communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
- Proven expertise in analysing information and preparing coherent investigative and / or technical reports.
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word and an electronic quality management package.
- Exceptional communication skills; with the ability to explain technical terms in a clear way to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a Life Science discipline or related subject.
