Your New Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Operational Support Technicians! In this role, you’ll be part of a shift team to support the production of life-changing cellular therapy products. No prior pharmaceutical experience? Not an issue! We offer comprehensive training to ensure your success.
What You’ll Do:
- This role is ideal for someone ready to gain experience in a regulated environment and contribute to impactful work.
- This is a shift-based role, working Monday - Thursday. This may include ad-hoc evening and weekends shifts.
- Assist with the controlled cleaning and maintenance of labs, cleanrooms, facilities, and equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Help complete essential quality documentation, including batch records and reports on changes, deviations, and preventive actions.
- Accurately record data according to GMP standards and SOPs.
- Perform inventory checks and restock materials and supplies as needed.
- Transfer materials, documents, and equipment into cleanroom areas.
- Support the manufacturing team with processing tasks.
- Handle and dispose of various lab waste, including biological and recyclable materials.
- Place orders and manage related documentation.
- Operate and monitor equipment such as autoclaves and Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) units.
- Manage laundry for cleanroom garments and lab coats.
- Schedule and conduct equipment maintenance.
- Review and archive completed documents.
About You:
We’re looking for team players who are eager to learn and contribute. While experience in a scientific laboratory, manufacturing environment, hospital, pharmacy, or a care home is beneficial, it is not required. We welcome applications from those who have experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, strong communication skills, and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with a National 5 or equivalent in English and Maths. A National 5 in a science subject is a bonus, but not essential.
