Your new role
An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Biotechnologist I to join our Clinical Projects team. This hands-on position will reside within the GMP Clinical Manufacturing team but offers the opportunity to gain additional experience across all Technical Operation functions including Innovation, Process & Analytical Development and MSAT.
While this role currently operates on standard working hours, there may be a requirement to move to a shift-based working pattern in the future. Successful applicants should demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, including the ability to work extended hours on process days and undertake weekend working when required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performing hands-on manufacture of cell banks and clinical phase drug product according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) within a highly controlled cleanroom environment.

Actively contribute to the successful process technical transfer and GMP translation from laboratory to cleanroom.

Completing quality related documentation including manufacturing batch records, forms and logbooks to a high level of GDP following all relevant standard operating procedures and instructions.

Assisting with change controls, deviations and risk assessments.

Participating in the qualification, calibration and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
About you

Educational background or experience in stem cells, cellular therapies or cell banking.

Solid understanding of a GMP cleanroom environment.

Strong communication skills, particularly with report writing and recording output.

IT Proficient, particularly with Microsoft Word & Excel.

Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
-
Flexible and enthusiastic attitude to develop next-generational therapies for patients.
Qualifications

A degree in Life Sciences, or related subject. We will also consider candidates with equivalent training and experience.
