Your new role

An exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our Supply Chain team.

  • Raise, track and progress New Sourcing Requests and Purchase Orders (POs) through the 3rd Party Procurement Solution Provider platform.
  • Monitor open and ongoing sourcing requests and POs, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage the UK Procurement mailbox, triaging queries and providing responses.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on procurement projects and supplier management.
  • Collate and analyse ordering data to identify patterns, support reviews, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Deliver in-house training on the 3rd Party Procurement platform for new starters and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and action open cases within the 3rd Party Procurement platform to maintain efficient procurement workflows.

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy administrative role within a dynamic and fast-paced office environment.
  • Experience of working with a third-party procurement solution provider, rather than managing direct vendor relationships.
  • Strong business acumen, commercial awareness and analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven experience of managing a variety of stakeholders across various levels of seniority.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a desire to continually develop and improve our processes.
  • Takes responsibility for setting high standards and looks at the bigger picture to recognise the impact of actions.

Qualifications

A qualification in CIPS is preferable. We will consider applicants who are working towards this qualification.
