Role Overview
They are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in Microservices, APIs, and UI/UX to join our talented international team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including integration with AI/ML and other advanced components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust cloud-based applications that help address their customers’ key security and regulatory compliance needs and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and microservices using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools for front and backend development.
- AWS Cloud Services: Utilize AWS cloud services and infrastructure to build scalable, reliable, secure applications, integrate with our AI/ML models, and optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Database Management: Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations for efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
- UI/UX Design: Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience and drive user engagement.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of applications, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Documentation and Collaboration: Document code, APIs, and technical specifications and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development, with proficiency in front and backend technologies.
- Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries like React, NextJS, Angular, Vue.js, or similar.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, and web security best practices.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Microservices, DynamoDB/RDS, Postgres, and others.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with AI/ML Integration and SaaS.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with serverless computing and containerization technologies like AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
