Operations & Legal Associate

🚀 Hiring: Operations & Legal Associate | Private Markets | London (Hybrid)

I am supporting a high-growth investment platform in London that is expanding its regulated fund activity and private markets capabilities. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and commercially minded Operations & Legal Associate to join their team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented legal/operations professional to work closely with senior leadership, investors, and external counsel — gaining hands-on exposure across fund structuring, deal execution, regulatory compliance, and governance.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Support execution and administration of investment transactions across funds & SPVs

• Manage legal documentation, investor communication, and internal approval workflows

• Coordinate investor onboarding (KYC/AML, regulatory classification, data room access)

• Liaise with fund administrators, external counsel, and service providers

• Maintain legal & operational document control and version management

• Prepare and track NDAs, subscription docs, side letters and other agreements

• Monitor key obligations (reporting cycles, renewals, notices)

• Assist with regulatory filings, compliance monitoring & policy maintenance

• Support governance processes including Board & Investment Committee materials

• Drive process improvements and support investor/regulator-readiness

🎯 Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business or related field

• 3+ years in legal, compliance, fund administration, or investment operations

• Experience with investment transaction workflows or fund structures

• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills

• Discretion handling confidential and sensitive information

Preferred: private markets / AIF experience, FCA exposure, working with fund admins / counsel.
