About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our aged care team. In this rewarding role, you will support residents to maintain mobility, independence, and quality of life through tailored therapy programs and person‑centred care.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assess residents’ physical function, mobility, and rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy and exercise programs
- Support pain management, mobility improvement, and falls prevention strategies
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise resident outcomes
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as required
- Educate residents, families, and staff on safe mobility and exercise techniques
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
- Promote independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing
What You Will Bring
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
- Experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or community settings
- Qualification in Physiotherapy
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate and patient‑centred approach
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
