Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Junior CNC Machinist to join their growing production team.
This would suit an Engineering college leaver or similar, looking to get into a hands-on engineering role.
The Role
Working within our machine shop, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery (training given) to produce high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities – After Full Training
- Operate HAAS CNC milling and turning machinessafely and efficiently.
- Manufacture components to engineering drawingsand specifications.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
- Inspect components to ensure quality standardsare maintained.
- Monitor production output and identify anyquality or process issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised working area.
- Work closely with colleagues and the team leaderto meet production targets.
- Follow company health and safety procedures atall times.
- Assist with machine set-ups and tooling changeswhere required.
