We are currently looking for a Pastry Sous Chef to join our pastry team at Rosewood London. The Pastry Sous Chef reports directly to the Pastry Executive Chef and is responsible for contributing to the overall success of outlets and banquets, in accordance with the hotel's standards and financial goals.

Key expectations of this role:

  • Preparing and supervising daily mise en place and ensuring that all sections are supplied with fresh and high-quality products based on anticipated business levels.
  • Maximising the effectiveness of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through appropriate training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Consistently maintaining established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.
  • Intuitively overseeing preparations, cooking times, and dish presentations of the Chef de Parties, Demi Chef de Parties, and Commis Chefs.

  • Proven culinary skills in an upscale hotel environment.
