We are currently looking for a Shift Engineer to join our team of engineering associates at Rosewood London. Our Shift Engineers are appointed to provide reactive maintenance service to all areas of the hotel, ensuring the highest levels of maintenance throughout the property. This role offers a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern that includes day, night, and middle shifts.
Key expectations of this role are
- Efficiently respond to and prioritize any jobs assigned by guests or other departments, reporting progress using the communications device provided.
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance activities in accordance with company and departmental standards for all areas of the hotel, including guest bedrooms, public areas, and main plant/machinery.
- Be fully conversant with all maintenance department policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication within the department and with other departments, ensuring the director is kept well informed of any problems or queries that have arisen.
Profile
- Pay close attention to detail without compromising quality standards.
- Hold formal certified knowledge of at least one key area of engineering.
- Be self‑motivated and proactive in managing tasks.
