We are currently looking for a PR & Communications Manager to join the Communications team at Rosewood London. In this pivotal role, you will support the Director of Communications and be responsible for implementing strategy, initiatives, planning, coordination and management of the hotel’s integrated marketing, public relations and communications. This role requires working onsite 5 days a week.
Key expectations of this role are:
- Responsible for managing hotel communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition etc.
- Coordinate media interest in the hotel and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
- Foster excellent relationships with extensive media and KOL and industry contacts and maintain a comprehensive database.
- Identify and develop hotel events, partnerships and activations with relevant companies in the luxury, lifestyle, fashion, arts and cultural world to drive brand awareness and commercial impact.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing and communications strategies.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to support hotel initiatives, events, and guest experiences.
- Represent the hotel in the community through programming and partnerships that enhance our reputation and visibility.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management, delivering timely, accurate messaging to both internal and external stakeholders when needed.
Profile:
- A proven background in communications or public relations, with relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or related sectors is highly desirable.
- Must have an impressive contact list of press and KOL relationships, be highly engaged in contemporary culture (i.e. music, restaurants, fashion, art and design) and immersed in the London social scene.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
