Join to apply for the Manager on Duty role at Rosewood London. We are currently looking for a Manager on Duty to join our Front Office management team at Rosewood London. Our Managers on Duty are entrusted with managing Reception and Guest Relations operations whilst on shift to ensure a seamless guest experience whilst also being responsible for the overall safety of the hotel in the absence of senior management. This role is shift based and may occasionally involve the covering of night shifts in the absence of the Night Managers.

Key expectations of this role are:

  • Acting with a sense of urgency and possessing the knowledge to prioritise tasks effectively and delegate to maximise efficiency within the business.
  • Building and managing relationships with guests, associates and stakeholders to ensure an environment that fosters a guest and safety focus throughout the hotel.
  • Consistently following and embracing established standards across the department and other areas of responsibility to maintain brand integrity at all times.
  • Articulating an in-depth understanding of guest needs and using guest feedback to constantly evolve the quality of service delivered by the front of house team.

Profile:

  • Possessing an in-depth understanding of how to drive all emotional and transactional aspects of the guest experience in a busy luxury hotel.
  • Being able to make impactful decisions independently.
  • Having a good understanding of how to manage individuals from a variety of departments.
  • Having thorough knowledge of the function of property management systems (Opera).
